Sangita Thebe Limbu is a PhD candidate at the University College London (UCL). Prior to joining academia, Sangita worked in the international development sector in various capacities. She has experience of researching in areas related to women’s political participation, post-war transition, youth unemployment, and gendered impacts of infrastructure development and urbanisation. 

She holds an MSc in Social Anthropology from the University of Oxford, and another MSc in Gender, Development and Globalisation from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
