Bhawna

Bhawna is a librarian and the director of The Community Library Project (TCLP), where she is doing the work of love and justice in the community library. Bhawna likes the work as community organiser with a wonderful bunch of comrades and advocates for the free community own (excellent) libraries at every nook and corner of the communities across India. Bhawna has done her masters in political science from Jamia Millia Islamia. She did diploma in child rights from the social work department of the same university. Her M.phil in sociology is from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. She has a keen interest in reading dalit and feminist literature and look at how along with other dimensions they both intersect and used by the oppressors against the oppressed in various capacity.
