Aarathi Selvan is the founder and mental health worker at Pause for Perspective. They integrate Mindfulness, somatic work and social justice principles with Narrative practices in their work with people. They have a tiny library at Pause for Perspective called the Pause Library which is a community library that is intentional, reflective and accountable in curating picture books for adults and children. Aarathi leads book reading sessions with adults and also collaborates with their team of mental health workers to take books into therapy spaces. Aarathi is a teacher, supervisor and a phd scholar who is learning everyday to not get ahead of themselves while also getting ahead of themselves..
